Pay-per-click advertisting, or PPC for short, refers to paying for your ad to appear in a search engine when people search for your keywords or services.   The way it works is simple, but also complex.  Consider these facts:

• So once you know what keywords you want to use for your search campaign, your next step is to set up your account at google.com,  msn.com or yahoo.com (or any of the other directory sites like askjeeves.com, etc.).  This is a simple administrative step
