If you didn’t know otherwise, it would be easy to suspect that Stuart Preston was a paid spokesperson for SpiralFX.

“Working with them has been a dream,” Stuart says enthusiastically. “The whole process has been fantastic.”

Stuart is the founder of My Business Dashboard, a provider of strategic management-information services. Like the gauges of a car, a business “dashboard” is a process that enables a company to instantly view various indicators of its progress and operating functions, such as sales reports, cash flow, profit margins, back orders, accounts receivable and much more, all in real time.

Obviously though, a business dashboard requires effective web applications to process and distribute that information. When Stuart started his Phoenix-based company in 2004, he chose a web developer recommended by a friend.

“But that was horrible,” Stuart says, launching into a litany of problems with his first programmer: numerous mistakes, poor communication, missed deadlines, unkept promises. That relationship soon collapsed.

Then Stuart met Vanessa Siegal of SpiralFX, and everything turned around.

“When Vanessa saw what we had to work with, she was honest with me,” Stuart explained. “We didn’t have to start over, but she showed me what needed to be fixed, and helped me understand what I should have been doing all along.”

At that point, Vanessa brought in a team of programming experts to rebuild My Business Dashboard’s website. SpiralFX was able to salvage parts of Stuart’s existing work and then redesigned the rest. Better yet, the site was configured to make future additions and changes easier. Beyond their skills, Stuart was equally impressed with the feedback he got from SpiralFX.

“I was never out of the loop,” he adds, “and with everything they did, SpiralFX was looking out for my best interests.”

Stuart reports that his new site is “amazing,” and it’s doing what he and his clients need. However, he couldn’t end his story without a few more compliments.

“Vanessa and Andrew (Royappa of SpiralFX) are the best,” he says. “I would recommend them 100%!”
