SEO typically refers to changes you will do to your OWN site that will make the search engines rank you higher on your selected/chosen keywords. Keep in mind that changes made to your own site can take up to 6-8 months to show up in the search engines. Sometimes they show up quickly, and sometimes they don’t. Unfortunately there is no magic way to “make” them re-rank you once you put in some changes. However, we have found that if you combine an SEO optimization package with a Pay-Per-Click campaign that by buying your way on to the first page for your keywords often puts your site higher in the natural rankings very quickly as well. This is one of several reasons why we suggest that companies consider a combination of SEO and PPC services.
Search Engine Optimization services (these are actions we take on your site):
URL Optimization - Both of your sites have URLS (web addresses) that are similar to this: http://abadiaccess.com/page.php?id=3 The problem with this type of URL is that the search engines only read up to the question mark (?). Not that it matters in your case, because the words ‘page’ and ‘id=3’ are not useful as far as keywords are concerned anyway.
The search engines place high importance on the words used in your URL. They figure if you are using those words in your URL that they are highly relevant to your web page. So what we would do is to change your urls from the above type url to something similar to this: http://abadiaccess.com/3/TAS_Inspection/Inspection_Services/Department_of_Licensing_and_Regulation/
Now, keep in mind, I don’t know what your keywords should be for this page. I just took some words that are currently being used in your text. You would let us know 3-5 keywords for each page. Here is an example of a site that provides pet services where the types of service they offer, their name, and other keywords are in the URL. When we changed the URLS on this site, they went from 900 visitors a month to 15,000 visitors a month in 5 months. This was the ONLY change they made, so we know that the change in traffic was due solely to this one change. It can be very effective.

This is a one-time service. It will be set to work with all future pages on your site as well (in most cases).,
Alt Tags for all Images on your site – one aspect of many sites that is overlooked is the Alt Tags on the images. If you right click on any image on your site, go to Properties, you will see that there are no Alt Tags on your images. Many of the search engines give a fair amount of weight to the words used in the Alt Tags in determining a page’s keywords. This is an important aspect that should be fixed asap. Again, the keywords themselves will be supplied by you (or in combination with our keyword consultation service).
By the way, your wizard has the ability for you to put in Alt Tags on all images you upload. So this is a service you only need to do once, because all further images added can be set at upload time.
Accessibility for the Disabled. This is comprised of the following two elements:
· Setting the tab order so that when someone uses their keyboard to tab through the elements on your page, it is in the order in which you or I would see those items
· Setting up forms so that voice readers can read out the name of every field to the visitor.
Keyword Analysis for each page. We will analyze each page you designate for its keyword density on your selected keywords, how well the page is optimized for those keywords, and we will supply you with two main things: our suggestions on how to improve your keyword relevance for each page. And reports that will allow you to track how well you are doing now, and also how any changes you implement affect your search engine rankings. We will provide these reports before beginning any SEO work, and then we will supply you with the report at the following intervals as well: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months. Once you get this analysis, you will likely need to re-write your page text so that the proper ratio of keywords is evident in your text areas. Meta Tags – this is a service we do at no charge when combined with our other services. Many of the search engines do not even look at the meta tags, but some of them still do. So it is still important that these hidden tags have the proper keywords, description of your services, etc.
Pay-Per-Click Services (PPC)
Pay per click simply refers to the action of paying a search engine to place your advertisement at the top of the search engines on certain chosen keywords. You do not pay for people viewing your ad – you only pay when they click on it. A good Pay-Per-Click Campaign should set up specific landing pages for each ad. A landing page is a page other than your home page that is targeting to the exact marketing message shown in the ad. Most clients will set up several types of ads. Our job as your campaign manager is to monitor all the ads for numbers of clicks, as well as how many people who come to your site actually convert. Conversion is different for each client. You may consider a conversion an actual purchase. But a conversion can also be someone joining your mailing list, or someone asking for more info about your services, or downloading some documents you provide, etc. So we monitor each ads effectiveness, and track how change we made to the ads affect the statistics, etc. You can set up your own monthly budget for PPC advertising and we will set it up so that your ads are distributed throughout the month equally even if your budget means they would not show up every time someone types in your keywords. The amount of your monthly budge really will depend on what you are trying to accomplish as well as your own advertising budget. PRICES FOR PAY-PER-CLICK - we charge 1/3 of your monthly ad budget. So as an example, if your ad budget is $5000, then our fee would be $1666 and you would pay a total each month of $6666. If your ad budget is $1000 a month, then our fee is $333 and you would pay a total of $1333 per month. The ‘ad budget’ is the part you pay to the search engines. You can set that amount to any amount you like. We will help you to determine the best amounts. And we will definitely advice you (and do the work) to make sure you pay the least per click as possible and still get the ranking you want. |
